Carol Lawson
Carol has been involved with musical theatre and dance for many years and, since moving to the area, has become one of our society’s key choreographers. Carol has demonstrated her particular style in many productions including the Noda Award winning “Sweet Charity”. Children Katie and Peter joined her on stage for our “Song and Dance” concert in 2005. After a change of direction in her career Carol when back to university and is now a primary school teacher in the village in which she lives.

First ever record: "My Kind of Girl" by Matt Monro – I wanted "England Swings" but my brother bought it instead
Favourite film: No particular favourite, but any scary ones
Interesting story: I’ve crawled up inside a pyramid, met a witchdoctor, climbed Table Mountain, sailed the Zambezi, smuggled currency, ridden camels across the Sahara (well a bit of it) and loads of other ‘adventures’ whilst visiting 9 African countries.
